Cancellation policy

1. Order Confirmation

  • Once you place an order, we’ll send an immediate Order Confirmation email summarizing the items, price, taxes, shipping, and estimated delivery.

  • Please review your order carefully—if you spot any mistakes, contact us within 24 hours so we can correct it before it ships.

2. Cancellation Window

  • Orders may be cancelled without penalty within 24 hours of placement, provided the item has not yet shipped.

  • To cancel, email contact@compasstimepieces.com quoting your order number and title.

3. Shipping Status

  • If your order has already shipped, unfortunately we can’t cancel or stop it en route. However, you can initiate a return once the order is delivered (see below).

4. Returns & Refunds

  • Return eligibility: Unopened/unused items may be returned for a full refund (minus shipping) within 14 days of delivery.

  • Returns must be in original condition, with tags, packaging, and any documentation (e.g., certificates, warranty cards).

  • Buyer is responsible for return shipping costs—unless the return is due to a mistake on our end (e.g., wrong or defective item).

5. Refund Process

  • Once we receive and inspect the returned item, your refund will be processed within 5 business days.

  • Refunds are issued to the original payment method.

  • Shipping charges (initial or return) are non-refundable, except in the case of an error on our part.

6. Exchanges

  • We do not offer direct exchanges at this time.

  • To exchange, please submit a return and place a new order for the desired item.

7. Late or Missing Refunds

  • If you haven’t received your refund within 10 business days of shipping your return, contact your bank or credit card provider—they may take additional time for processing.

  • Still seeing no refund? Reach out to us at support@compasstimepieces.com, and we’ll track it down for you.

8. Order Modifications

  • Change requests (e.g. shipping address, billing info) are accepted within 24 hours of placing the order and before shipment.

  • To request a change, email us with your order number and the modification details. We’ll confirm if the change was successful.

9. Policy Updates

  • This policy is effective as of June 30, 2025.

  • We reserve the right to modify our terms at any time—any changes will apply only to purchases made after the updated policy becomes effective.
